dc.description.abstract |
In the rural areas the decentralized water treatment systems represent
more efficient and economical solutions than the ones offered by the
centralized system. Due to the fact that the droughts in Europe has become
more severe the use of purified sewerage water for irrigations can be an
optimum solution for agriculture.
The paper pursues to present the ultrasound disinfection of water
which generates cavitation. The institute from Aachen studies this method.
This method is applied in small water treatment stations, being estimated that
in 2015 will be runned about 20 millions of such stations in Europe. |
